Terms & Conditions

As an agent we sell products on behalf of airlines, hotels, tour operators, service providers and transportation services and other providers of air, land, sea or any other travel arrangements, products or services. Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd acts as agents/brokers only on behalf of the suppliers and accordingly on receipt Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd of any booking.

Please ensure you understand all terms and conditions below that apply to your particular arrangements

1. All prices quoted are subject to availability and currency fluctuations

2. Deposits, Payments & Additional Charges

2.1 Deposits are non refundable

2.2 Payment of a deposit enables Fete N Fiesta to hold a reservation for you but does not guarantee the fare/or price, the fare and/or price can only be guaranteed once we receive full payment and fare tickets or other travel documents have been issued

2.3 Fete N Fiesta will advise you of the date full payment is required

2.4 Prices quoted may vary up to the booking finalization date due to supplier price changes and currency fluctuation and any additional costs shall be solely for your account

2.5 Failure to make payment in full by the due date, may result in the forfeiture of any deposit

2.6 Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to raise additional charges and fees for alterations and amendments after the booking confirmation has been finalized

 

3. Documentation

3.1 Travel documentation will not be issued until full payment with cleared funds are received

3.2 Fete N Fiesta will send through all travel documents electronically wherever possible, We reserve the right to charge an administration fee should you request the documents to be sent in a hard copy form

3.3 It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct as well as bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately on receiving these documents

3.4 The names in your booking must be exactly the same as they appear in your passport

 

4. Bookings and Changes

4.1 All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions specified by the Supplier/s and by booking, you become contractually bound to the Supplier/s terms and conditions pertaining to such booking

4.2 In the event of there being an unscheduled change to your travel arrangements caused by flight delays, bad weather, terrorism, strikes or any other cause that is beyond the control of Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd/ the Supplier/s, it is understood that the expenses relating to these unscheduled changes (hotel accommodation etc.) will be for your account. We accept no liability for changes, omissions or delays before or during the cause of any journey occasioned by technical difficulties weather conditions, strike or communication break downs or the like, and there shall be no right to any refund in respect of the curtailed portion of the booking.

5. Passport, Visa and Immigration requirements

5.1 It is your responsibility to fulfil the passport, visa and immigration requirements for your entire itinerary, including all transiting and stopover destinations applicable to your itinerary

5.2 These should be confirmed with the relevant High Commissions, embassies and/or consulates

5.3 We do not accept any responsibility in case of you being unable to travel due to not complying with any such requirements

5.4 Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your return date into South Africa

5.5 South African passport holders are required to have a minimum of 3 blank pages in their passport excluding the front and back cover to enable entry visas to be issued, if there is insufficient space in the passport, entry will be denied and the person is likely to be detained pending return to their country of origin.

5.6 Please ensure all passports are renewed

5.7 From 1 June 2015 all children under the age of 18 require the following:

  • Unabridged birth certificates to travel internationally

  • If travelling with one parent, consent in the form of an affidavit of the other parent is required as well as a unabridged birth certificate

  • If traveling with no parents, consent in the form of an affidavit is required from both parents as well as the unabridged birth certificate

  • Ages of children and infants travelling must relate to the dates of travel

     

    6. Travel Insurance

    6.1 It is strongly recommended that you take out adequate insurance cover. Travel insurance is essential to protect you from any medical and personal expenses or loss. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all persons travelling.

    6.2 The company shall not be held responsible or liable for any advise which it or its representatives furnish in relation to travel insurance or for filing/prosecuting a claim on the traveler’s behalf against any insurer/underwriter who has issued a policy to the traveler and for any claim disputed by the insurers.

     

    7. Vaccinations

    Vaccinations may be required for some or all the places you are intending to visit. Health, vaccination & inoculation compliance is entirely your responsibility, please ensure you have arranged all necessary vaccinations for your itinerary. Kindly consult your physician if you are unsure about whether your physical condition is adequate for the intended itinerary

     

    8. Cancellations

    8.1 In the event of cancellation of the booking for any reason whatsoever, partially or in full, by or on behalf of you, Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to claim the services, administration, communication and cancellation charges specified in the booking confirmation will depend on the debits Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd receives from the Supplier/s  with whom the reservations were made on your behalf

    8.2 No refunds are entertained by Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd/the Supplier/s of travel services for no-shows or unused services

     

    9. Flight Reconfirmation

    It is your responsibility to reconfirm the departure date and times of all flights at least 72 hours prior to anticipated departure. Fete N Fiesta (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for any delay/or loss as a result of your failure to reconfirm any flight and/or connecting flight

    Please ensure you check in for your flight 24 hours prior to your departure day

     

    10. TAX

    The traveler will be liable for any additional taxes levied by the relevant country or city visited including inter alia local city tax or departure tax, many countries charge departure taxes that can only be paid locally, it is therefore recommended that you retain sufficient local currency to meet such charges. Details can be obtained from the relevant supplier when reconfirming travel arrangement details.
